amazing item, the arm length on this one is too short. The older version of this had longer arm length to it. It does well for me. I have purchased about 6 of these over the last 3 years due to constant use of it since I had back surgery and a tumor taken off my back. It helps with the nerve issues that I have, but the mesh on the area that the massagers does not last long. It tends to break and then you cannot use it. It is perfect for me while I can use it. The value of it is worth the money, the value for the construction could DEFINITELY use some up grades on the item.

Shiatsu Back shoulder & Neck Massager With Heat – Deep Tissue 3D Kneading Pillow MassagerThe massage you get from this is wonderful IF you like heavy deep massage – which I do- it works on lower back as well as neck and shoulders – and everywhere in between. The massage feels like someone who is using decent pressure on your tight muscles. It is quiet and nothing like the vibrating massage most massagers use. It is relaxing and serious. If you are delicate or cannot take hard pressure from someone massaging your shoulders this is most likely not for you. The heat is also nice but using the unit for more than 15 minutes at a time it gets a bit too warm but you can use with or without heat. The long cord allows you to plug into a wall socket and leave it there, the unit actually has a short cord coming from the ‘sleeve’ that hooks into the cord via a barrel jack (similar to a headphone jack). The only real downside I see is the controls are in the right sleeve which is great until you try to reach them easily while still all situated – maybe my arms are short but I do find it a bit difficult to keep my left arm in the sleeve and still reach around to the right sleeve to use the controls – (Maybe they could have made them adjustable?) That being said, I do wish the time for massage was controllable – it is good for 15 minutes at a time which then you must turn it back on, would be nice if you could choose say 15 minutes or 30 – maybe the unit needs time to rest? IDK – also the other thing I would change is for the direction of the massage to remain the same without auto changing every 60 seconds.. there must be a reason for it but I would prefer to have a choice to use – all outward massage – all inward massage or multi directional as it is set for. All in all this is most definitely a wonderful massage unit for those with sore muscles – the best I have ever used ! – this in my opinion is for those who want deep serious massage and not necessarily for those who just want a little back rub. The unit itself is bigger than I thought and a bit cumbersome – it has a nice carry case but not all that easy to keep putting back in the case if you use this daily . You can NOT lay on this. You sit comfortably in a chair and use it. The arm ‘sleeves’ are a very soft leather like feel – as I said before I just wish they were adjustable in length.- in closing, buy it if you need deep massage to your back, shoulders and neck . 5 stars

This is an excellent massager. It’s easy to use, and the “arm handles” are an ingenious way to hold on to the massager as it does its job. However, the cord needs to be much longer, and the short cord connected to the massager that connects to the cord with a plug is not very strong. It disconnects all the time.

Nice portable deep back massage at will. No more mall chair massages needed. Heat feels good while massaging. Good performance and maneuverable. Where and when you want. Good looking design and carry case. Bye bye pain.

This really does work! I almost never write reviews but I had to for this.I experienced two separate rear end accidents. The injuries after the second affect me more because I had already had one. These accidents were not super serious, but they do really affect my neck, shoulders, and lower back. I have ongoing issues because of them. I also have periods of time at work that are pretty intense with time constraints which always make me get all knotted up at my desk job.I was skeptical about how well it would work because Iâve gotten other devices over the years to massage areas of my back and neck. The other devices donât target muscles like this one does. Those other devices were too hard, or didnât hit the muscles correctly. At times, they actually made me hurt worse, not sore from massage, but their mechanics caused the pain. I do go to a chiropractor once or twice a month (sometimes more) just to help with alignment.This device âgrabsâ the muscles like when Iâve had a really good massage by a person. I do like pretty firm massages so I prefer the more firm massage setting with this. The less firm setting was still ok for my granddaughters to use.I love how you can manipulate where the massage goes by using the arm slings. And the heat was ahhhhhh so nice! Itâs not too hot which is great too!Iâm going to purchase one for my kids and maybe my mom too.Hope you all find great relief if you purchase!

Purchased this on march 3rd.. I loved it at first. The massage was amazing and felt good since I work from home and my shoulders get tense. Also the heat was giving! Got super hot. After using it practically everyday, then stopped for a while. I picked it up and tried using it and the fast speed seems sluggish. Itâs so bulky. And you have to keep it plugged it. Which the plug is okay but the rollers an so sluggish now. And if you want to lay down with it, itâs so bulky that itâs not comfortable. Luckily I can return this product. Will look for other options

For the past 6 plus months Iâve had chronic pain in my right shoulder arm forearm and hand! It was so bad it would wake me up In my sleep, prevent me from sleep and work! The pain wasnât painful it was more discomfort than anything, the burning, tingling, numbness, stiffness was unpleasant! Then I got this Iâve had it about 4 days and Iâve slept thru the night and have little to no discomfort!! Go get you one I promise itâs worth the money! And I mean the massage unit not the lady !!
